What is "visibility tint"?
"Visibility tint" contact lenses are contact lenses that are slightly tinted to facilitate easy lens insertion and do not change the colour of the eyes. Most manufacturers offer contact lenses with "enhancement tints".
What is a “sandwich structure”?
“Sandwich structure” is a manufacturing process in which a coloured pigment is sandwiched between lens materials. Most coloured contacts on the market today have this sandwich structure. Since the pigment is sandwiched between the lenses, there is no need to worry about the pigment coming into contact with the eyes or leaking out. However, due to the thickness of the lens, the oxygen permeability is low, so it may feel uncomfortable when being worn.
